Bueno, ya que no tenemos electricidad, vamos a escribir un BLOG!!! :)

Here are the specifics:

• 10-15 frases completas (MINIMUM of 10 well-crafted, complete sentences)
• You must include at least 8 CONJUGATED REFLEXIVE VERBS from our Tema 8 vocabulary (ejemplo: Me levanto a las cinco de la mañana y me ducho a las seis de la mañana)
• You must include two NON-CONJUGATED REFLEXIVE VERBS, as well (ejemplo: Necesito  ducharme porque huelo mal. Tengo que lavarme los dientes)
• At least two of your sentences should use TENER EXPRESSIONS, as well... tengo miedo, tengo suerte, tengo calor, etc.
• Write about your daily routine (from waking up to going to bed) and show me that you understand how to conjugate and use reflexive verbs (along with new vocabulary).
• Debes (you should!) usar un minimo de 2 fotos relevantes (at LEAST two relevant photos, either of yourself or someone else) showing different steps of your daily routine. Get creative! Feel free to embed videos, songs, animation, whatever you need to make this an OUTSTANDING blog entry :)

Blogs will be evaluated (Communication grade) on:

• Quality-Quantity of writing (15 points) + Use of photos (5 points) = 20 possible points!
• Extra creative blogs will be awarded an additional 2 points

And remember... IF YOU USE A TRANSLATOR TO COMPLETE THIS ASSIGNMENT, YOU WILL RECEIVE A ZERO! Make sure that you are using your own brain, not Google´s! YOU ARE SMARTER THAN THE MACHINES!!

Use this topic to show us what you (or, if you are not comfortable writing about yourself or showing yourself/your family in your blog, make up a character and write about them) are usually up to on a snowy, wintry day en tu casa. You can get as creative as you'd like... but tener en cuenta (keep in mind) that all snow day blogs must be SCHOOL APPROPRIATE and follow our responsible blogging guidelines.

Por ejemplo (for example):

Hola! Hoy estoy en mi casa porque está nevando (snowing). ¡Me gusta la nieve! Quiero quedarme en casa todos los días. No es aburrido estar en casa. Yo estoy muy feliz en mi casa.

¡Mira cuanta nieve! Casi no puedo ver mi coche. ¡Tal vez voy a esquiar a la escuela hoy! Quizás puedo jugar hockey sobre hielo, pero no tengo casco y no tengo patines. Mi perrita está dormiendo porque ella está cansada. ¡Le gusta muchísimo la nieve! Ella se llama Heidi; es muy energética, cariñosa (affectionate) y hermosa. Heidi está tomando el sol. Yo también quiero estar al aire libre, pero no quiero jugar fútbol ni fútbol americano porque hace mucho frío.

Ahora mi hermano está viendo la película Frozen. ¡AJA! Ya sé (I know) qué voy a hacer: voy a hacer un muñeco de nieve (snowman)!

Fashion BLOG sobre una celebridad HISPANA

Requisitos (required): 

• Una FOTO (full body... we need to see the outfit!) de una persona famosa con descendencia HISPANA. Your chosen celebrity must be Hispanic!
• Al menos 10 adjetivos de descripción (físicas y de personalidad) ej: inteligente, guapo, etc.
• Al menos 5 prendas (pieces) de ropa, y también los colores y adjetivos.
• Say whether you like the outfit or not (me gusta o NO me gusta)
• detalles (DETAILS) about the persona famosa; look up some interesting facts about their family and life. You don't have to write a book, but it should be substantial (8-10 GOOD sentences).

Blog assignment #2: Mi clase favorita (due VIERNES, 5 DE DICIEMBRE)

¡Hola a todos! Your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is the following:

Escribe 5 frases sobre tu clase favorita. You must use:

• 2 forms of gustar
• at least 3 adjectives of description
• at least 3 different verbs
• 5 vocabulary words from Unit 4 (la escuela)
• include an image of what you are currently studying in that class.
  
  

Feel free to get creative, write a poem, include a video, etc. Aquí tenéis un ejemplo:

Mi clase favorita es la clase de español. Me gusta la clase de español porque me gusta estudiar la lenguaje. Mi profesor es inteligente,serio y alto. Él se llama Sr. Rapp. A Sr. Rapp le gusta correr y  viajar. A mí me gusta nadar, escribir y pintar. Para la clase de español necesito (I NEED) lápices, bolígrafos, libros y un diccionario de español-inglés. También necesito la mochila. NO necesito calculadora para la clase de español. 

El aula de Sr. Rapp está en A1; ¡está muy lejos (far)!

FIRST BLOG ASSIGNMENT: Cómo soy yo

·        Escribe AL MENOS (at least) 5 frases describiéndote. Write at least five sentences describing yourself.

·        Utiliza un mínimo (minimum) de 5 adjetivos describing yourself physically, as well as 5 adjetivos describing your personality. You can also describe family members to meet this requirement.
